Second shift

Definition:

Second shift is the tedious parts of human existence that you must complete after you have already worked a full day. This includes food shopping, paying bills, laundry, cleaning, etc.

Exemplification of usage:

Them: Hey, let's go hit the pub after work today. Me: I really can't - second shift hits after work today.... Them: Second shift? Me: All the crap you have to do at home after work - second shift is exhausting.
