Occupational Hazard

Definition:

When work overflows into one's personal life. As a teacher, I talk too much, correct people’s English, and ask people if they need to go to the bathroom before a movie.

Exemplification of usage:

Them: You talk way too much during book group.

Me: I’m sorry. I’m a teacher - it must be an occupational hazard.
