Emotional chaos is when you date someone where there are many highs and lows to the relationship, like a love/hate relationship. It feels like a roller coaster.

Exemplification of Usage:

Me: Dating Ted was emotional chaos. I’m straight up traumatized by it. It was like he couldn’t decide if he wanted to commit or not.
